Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz pasta (your choice)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning or more if you’re feeling feisty!
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the onion and sauté until translucent, about 3 minutes.
  4. Toss in the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Stir in the shrimp, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until shrimp turns pink, around 3-4 minutes.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring until well combined.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix until everything is coated beautifully in that creamy sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra creaminess, add a splash of chicken broth along with the cream. You can swap shrimp for chicken or tofu for a different protein twist. Experiment with different pasta shapes—they’ll all soak up that sauce beautifully.
