Ingredients

Pasta and Proteins
  • 8 oz fettuccine or your favorite pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
Sauce Ingredients
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
Seasoning and Garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook the fettuccine until al dente, following package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, adding 2 tablespoons of butter.
  3. Season the steak with salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of Cajun seasoning. Sear until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Cooking the Shrimp
  1. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter and toss in the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
  2. Season with additional Cajun seasoning and garlic, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
Making the Sauce
  1. Reduce the heat to medium. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring well.
  2. Add the Parmesan cheese and remaining Cajun seasoning, mixing until the sauce is creamy and smooth. If it's too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
Combining and Serving
  1. Toss the cooked pasta, seared steak, and shrimp into the Alfredo sauce, mixing until everything is well coated.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3-4 days. Reheat gently with a splash of cream.
