  • 1 cup 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

  • 1 cup 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  3. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and lightly prick the bottom with a fork.
  4. Spread the broccoli florets and shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the crust.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the broccoli and cheese.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

You can keep this quiche in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze slices for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven until warmed through. Feel free to add in cooked bacon or ham for extra flavor, or try alternative cheeses for a different taste.
