  • 1 cup 1 cup heavy cream For a rich flavor
  • 1 cup 1 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or Swiss) Your choice of cheese
  • 1 cup 1 cup cooked bacon, ham, or veggies (like spinach or mushrooms) Optional fillings

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and blind bake for 10 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir in the cheese and your choice of add-ins.
  5. Pour the mixture into the crust.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden.
  7. Let it cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm or chilled.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-4 days in an airtight container. Can be frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven before serving for best results. Add a pinch of nutmeg for an extra flavor boost.
