Ingredients
  

Marinade
  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly) Slice against the grain for maximum tenderness.
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch Helps to tenderize the beef.
Stir-Fry
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Fresh preferred for a vibrant crunch.
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil For cooking.
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced) Adds flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated) Enhances aroma.
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix the beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry until browned; then, remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds.
  3. Toss in the broccoli and stir-fry for about 3–4 minutes until it’s tender but still bright green.
  4. Return the beef to the pan, add oyster sauce, and stir to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, and serve hot.

Notes

Serve over a bed of steamed rice or noodles. For extra flair, sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
