Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Mix in the mashed bananas, melted butter, and salt. Gradually add in the flour until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Rolling and Baking
- Roll the dough out into a rectangle and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll it up tightly, slice into rolls, and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
Frosting
- For the frosting, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
These rolls are best enjoyed fresh. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days in an airtight container. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months without glaze.
