  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar Can substitute with a mix of red wine vinegar and sugar.
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Toasting enhances flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (e.g., parsley or basil) for garnish Dill or thyme can also be used.

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the balsamic mixture over them, marinating for at least 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Remove the salmon from the marinade and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through and flaky.
  3. Drizzle with any remaining glaze before serving and garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Consider marinating the salmon a day in advance for more flavor.
