  • 8 slices Sliced ham Choose your preferred type of ham
  • 8 slices Cheese (Swiss or Cheddar) Use your favorite cheese for filling
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Melted, for brushing on top
  • 4 teaspoons Dijon mustard For spreading inside the croissants
  • 1 large Egg For egg wash to achieve a golden finish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the croissants in half and spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard inside.
  3. Layer the sliced ham and cheese on the bottom half of each croissant.
  4. Place the top half of the croissant back on.
  5. Brush the tops with melted butter and an egg wash for that gorgeous shine.
  6. Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
