Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in the sugar.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and Baileys Irish Cream.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then fold it into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
Baking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-5 days, or in the fridge for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze in individual portions for up to 3 months.
