Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet, crumble, and set aside.
- In the same skillet, drain excess fat, leaving about 1 tablespoon behind.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Scatter the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the pie crust.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese. If using, sprinkle with green onions.
Baking
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the quiche is set and slightly golden on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Let it rest after baking to help firm up for easier slicing. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
