Ingredients
  

For the Bang Bang Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce Adds sweetness and a little heat
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce Adjust for spice preference
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper
For the Tacos
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined Frozen shrimp can be used, just thaw properly
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs For extra crunch
  • 8 small tortillas Flour or corn based on preference
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro Add freshness

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to make the Bang Bang sauce.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Dip each shrimp in the sauce, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
Cooking
  1. Place the shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  2. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until crispy, shaking the basket halfway through.
  3. Warm the tortillas in a pan.
Assembly
  1. Assemble the tacos by placing shrimp in the tortillas, topping with lettuce, tomatoes, and cilantro.
  2. Drizzle with remaining Bang Bang sauce and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to restore crispiness. Experiment with toppings like avocado or jalapeños for extra flavor!
