  • 1 cup Nutella Creamy chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour Plus 1 tablespoon
  • 1 tsp baking powder For leavening
  • 1 large egg Binding agent

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, sift together flour and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, lightly beat the egg and mix in Nutella until smooth.
  4. Gradually fold the flour mixture into the Nutella mixture until a thick dough forms.
Baking
  1. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet, flatten slightly, and leave space in between.
  2. Bake for 9-10 minutes until edges are soft and centers are barely set.
  3. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

These cookies are best enjoyed with a glass of cold milk or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
